DAUNTED
"Even Ruth looked
daunted
that sunny day the minibus dropped us in front of the farmhouse" (118)
Daunted- to
make (someone) feel intimidated or apprehensive
(THIS DOESN'T INTIMIDATE OUR CLASS BECAUSE WE WILL NOT GIVE UP WHEN SOMETHING GETS DIFFICULT!) We will not be daunted by the work we have to do.
